I'm a life long farrier but found myself dissatisfied with the results I saw on lameness cases. This spurred me to try and find new ways to help horses. I'm passionate about young farriers, thus the slogan "Helping People, Helping Horses."

Megan Whitaker Winston-Salem, NC
FARRIER
I began riding horses at 5 years old after I found my mother’s old show trophies. I competed growing up, and continued in college. While in college I was dissatisfied with the hoof care my horse was receiving and began learning to trim him myself. I fell in love with hoof care and began taking on clients after graduating. Several lameness and White Line Disease cases prompted me to learn to shoe as well to help more horses. I am driven by constantly learning and listening to the horse.
