Lots of Hoof Issues, Repaired by CRS Shoes

​My mare came to me at 13, having been without a farrier for the better part of two years. The six years since have been a constant battle of treating her for thrush, white line separation/disease, frequent abscesses, and general, recurrent bouts of lameness. We have been through 4 different farriers before Riley, without ever seeing long-lasting results.

A friend recommended CRS, and I'm so happy she did. Riley has been so patient with my mare, able to accommodate her blindness and the anxiety is causes. He determined that she has pre-clinical laminitis, and put her in his CRS shoes only a few months ago, but already, I have an entirely different horse.

She walks without wincing, muscle tension that has been in her shoulders and top line is starting to relax for the first time since I met her, her soles are deepening, her white line separation is narrowing, and she got her personality back, behaving as young as the day I got her.

I am beyond grateful for Riley and everything he has done for me and my mare in the short time we've known him. The amount of stress he has lifted from my shoulders cannot be underestimated!
